Bruce Dollar is an Associate Broker, Top Producer and repeated recipient of Platinum Awards for Excellence in Sales from Houlihan Lawrence and from the Westchester County Board of Realtors. A realtor for more than ten years, he has a special affinity for antique and historic houses, for properties with water views and for luxury homes in general. For his clients he is a strong advocate and a skilled negotiator with a sharp business sense and an astute grasp of the local real estate market. For sellers, he is an experienced listing agent with the leading-edge marketing skills, tools and strategies that help sell a home at an optimum price. As a Certified Buyer Representative, he provides daily e-checks for new listings and updates, with immediate heads-up for buyer clients looking for that special home. A Certified Relocation Specialist, he has first-hand experience in coping with the problems and challenges of relocating and adjusting to a new community. Finally, he has earned the “e-Pro” designation from the National Association of Realtors, certifying his expertise in online and Internet technologies and their applications to real estate.
Earlier careers in education and in the corporate world have provided a broad range of experience that benefits Bruce’s clients. After earning a masters in teaching degree in Detroit’s public schools, he became a researcher, trainer and consultant in educational policy issues, working locally, nationally and internationally. In the business world, he worked for many years in a global corporate investigations firm, including four years as managing director in the firm’s Paris office. While in Paris, he sat on the Board of Directors of the 100 year-old American Chamber of Commerce in France, and served as Chairman of its President's Council.
Bruce grew up in Westchester County and has lived here off and on for 35 years. He has higher education degrees from the Sorbonne (diploma), New School University (bachelor's), Oakland University (master's) and Columbia University (doctorate). He is fluent in French, loves to cook and trade recipes, and has taken an active role in the art scene in Croton-on-Hudson.
